Non-executive directors in New Zealand are being paid far less than their international counterparts and it could be affecting the local government talent pool, according to an Institute of Directors’ (IOD) report.

However directors who leave the profession due to pay are not a common occurrence for governance and executive recruitment specialist Decipher Group.
