In order to lead the business to the next level of success, EAL is looking for a Contracting Manager to step into this vital role. Reporting to the Managing Director and working collaboratively with a talented team of experts, the Contracting Manager takes accountability for leading the business to further long-term and commercial success. In doing this, the Contracting Manager will, amongst other things:

• Lead a well experienced team, ensuring the right resources are available to deliver on time, every time.
• Develop and nurture new business relationships while providing exceptional management of existing customers.
• In support of the Operations Manager, plan and schedule all new work, ensuring efficiency and service delivery excellence.
• With safety at the heart of the operations, champion a safety culture across all areas of the business.

This is a key leadership role within the business, reporting to the Board and requires a results-driven, agricultural leader who thrives on developing and managing customer relationships, and who understands the sector. Is this you?

To be successful as the Contracting Manager, you will have an affinity for, and experience within the primary sector. Farming and the rural economy are in your blood, and contracting services is something that you have seen, worked with and understand.

A natural way with customers, you will enjoy developing new business relationships, managing existing customers and working through challenging situations to ensure positive outcomes for customers and the business.

A practical and down-to earth approach coupled with a strong understanding about what drives business achievement, you are as happy considering the profitability drivers of the business as you are standing in a paddock talking to a farmer about silage. You are in your element delivering these core contracting services to your customers in a way that provides mutual commercial benefit.
