Are you a Human Resource generalist, with a passion for implementing best practice and supporting managers? We are seeking a people connector that thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment to take on the role of People and Capability Business Partner – International.  Covering maternity leave, this role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Queenstown, in a thriving tourism industry!

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Head of People and Capability Business Partnering, the People and Capability Business Partner, will collaborate with multiple key stakeholders to influence and drive people related strategies, and deliver high-quality people services aligned with Skyline’s vision and values. With a focus on continuous improvement and innovation, you'll have the autonomy to implement solutions that enhance employee engagement, foster leadership development, and contribute to our overall success. In doing this you will:
  • Provide operational HR support across the international portfolio.
  • Coordinate and deliver group-wide initiatives supporting people and business outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Support leadership capability development to drive high engagement and meet business objectives.
  • Assist recruitment activities, compliance, and performance review processes.
  • Contribute to people-related projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience and drive business outcomes.

About you
As a People and Capability Business Partner, you will have a solid foundation in HR, with 3-5 years of experience in a generalist advisory role. Exceptional communication and influencing skills will enable you to effectively engage with diverse stakeholder groups, from International general managers to operational leaders. A proactive approach to continuous learning and development, coupled with a passion for innovation and collaboration, will set you apart from the rest as you contribute to the people success of Skyline.

Your initiative to problem-solve and influence multiple stakeholders across different cultures will shine through as a result of your strong relationship management capability. You will act as a trusted advisor, and innately demonstrate confidence, empathy, and sound business judgment in interactions and advice.   Sound like you?
