Landpro are seeking a National Planning and Environmental Manager to first and foremostly lead, develop and bring out the best in the team! In addition, lead strategic initiatives that align with the vision, balancing expertise with innovative solutions to achieve a balanced blend of commercial and success and environmental stewardship across clients and regions.

About the opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) you will be a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and a trusted strategic advisor in matters related to your team and across the organisation. In doing this you will:
  • Champion a culture of excellence and collaboration, ensuring the delivery of strategic planning and environmental solutions that embody Landpro's commitment to better environments and better returns.
  • Lead and empower a dedicated team, fostering their growth and development while embodying Landpro's values of honesty, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive business sustainability and growth by developing and implementing strategic plans, fostering partnerships, and identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold sustainability principles at a national level, guiding the team in the development of robust environmental management plans and fostering positive relationships with local authorities and iwi.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and commercial acumen, effectively managing financial performance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder relationships to support Landpro's mission of being the best little environmental consultancy in the world.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, prioritising the health and well-being of all stakeholders and maintaining rigorous health, safety, and risk management standards throughout the organisation.
About you
To be a successful National Planning and Environmental Manager you will bring an abundance of people centric leadership experience, you understand how to relate to a diverse stakeholder audience and above all else you know how to connect. Your relationship skills are top notch, and this translates into your ability to develop business opportunities and take people on a journey.  You will have a proven ability to develop and drive strategic initiatives in environmental solutions, which is essential in being part of the SLT and a trusted advisor to the CEO. This is a national role, you should be prepared for travel across regions, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in diverse environments.
